Special Interest Group for Making Cool Stuff™
SIGMake is a group of ACM members here at UAB dedicated to making cool stuff. Basically, if its DIY tech, we're all about it.
Currently (4-15-2010), we're all neck deep in classes and upcoming finals, but over the summer and next semester, we're hoping to get a working prototype of a surface computer (think Microsoft Surface) up and running.
We need hardware and software folks. Come one and all!
